Winter batteries in RV Reply

Is it a common practice to remove the batteries from the RV for winter ?

I have and have been told to remove the battery.  I keep it in the garage and check every month to make sure it is charged.  There is nothing worse on a battery than for it to freeze when it is run down.

My wife and I felt it necessary to remove both of our batteries from the rv. We placed them in the garage for the winter and I will trickle charge them from time to time.
